I was wondering if anyone has tried taking infra red photography on the Z2 and if it works ok, i love the effect of ir photos and id like to try, but id like to know it works before i shell out on the filter as i hear a lot of cams have a ir blocker built into them, I know the cam sees a remote blink, but wether it has the capability to capture a decent ir photo i dont know and cant find out.

I have done it. While I still need to do a proper white balance, I get results, with a slight blue cast. I do find it odd that I get color RAW images if I have the IR filter on.

And you will need to use a tripod.

With, I hope, an attachment.
