Hi

I am finding it increasingly necessaryto have a wideangle lens for the Kyocera M410r. What would bepractical magnification factors for wide and telephoto lenses?

Have you heard of raynox lenses?

Would you ba able to use these lenses onother cameras ? I wouldn't like to pay heavily for good quality lenses only to throw them away with the camera in 2 or three years time when I decide to upgrade or when it goes caput.

Regards

Gerrard

I have done a ton of research on the raynox lens....for me it boils down to two....the DCR6600 pro and the DCR720....720 costs half the price but distorts a lot more....however the 6600 pro creates soft images at the centre. I would go with the DCR720 myself and correct any distortion in photosop

Oh and you can use the lenses on most cameras as long as you get the required adaptor....the M410R needs nothing but the original filter extension supplied with the camera

Hi Tony

Thank you . How practical would it be to use these lenses on another camera or would that be impractical.

Sorry

Tony u replied my question while I was writing it.

So it would be wise to inwest in good quaity lenses as theyare usable on most current naer future cameras?

It would be wise if you intend to use them enough......Raynox is a great make....check out the photo comparisions so you can see the difference in wide angle strengths

Hi Tony

What about tele photo? Not that I really need that but nice to know if you have any suggestions.

I did not look at the telephoto but i do know they will give distortion also as the telephoto strength increases. Sorry can not be any more help
