Ok. Here's my problem. When I turn on the camera it stays at the start up screen. I am using Lexar SD 256MB memory. I haven't been using this camera for very long. I just bought it in Feb 2004. And only used it maybe 3 times. I have tried changing the memory card with the factory one, but it still stays on the start up screen and doesn't go anywhere. When it stays at the start up screen none of the buttons work. Only the On/Off button works. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? I also tried charging the battery, Using just the AC adapter. Nothing works. Any ideas?

Must admit the start screen was the very first thing I diasabled when I got my Contax version of this camera. So you can't operate anything at all? You could try giving it a shock and maybe resetting itself by powering up and then taking the battery out withpower still on. Although contacting the company that sold it to you would be a sensible option.
