Tony,

Is that at full zoom F8?

I just can't get the camera to focus if I try and get any closer, you are in macro mode?

Yep full zoom macro mode F8. I have noticed that if i use the Kyocera extension instead of the home made one i can stay back almost a foot and get same magnification but if i use home made adaptor i have to stay very close to the subject.

and the Macro +10

They seem very, grey.dirtyish. I know the light isn't fantastic but I still think the filters are the problem.
