Nice ........ can't tell, but very similar to my +3. Isn't it amazing what an inexpensive attachment will do!

There is a little bit of CA ....as in my +3 ....we'd have to go to a more expensive set of glass to get rid (minimise) that!

If you get a chance, try the mm ruler and AA cell shot ....as I did earlier on in the thread. I'd love to see how much closer a +4 will get.

Thanks for posting.

KK

i will try it when i find a ruler...it is some where!

It wont be much different to your results i would think. As for the ca.....i can live with that considering the low outlay to get that close. The light was directly above it and was thinking maybe ca wont be such an issue in daylight with flowers and insects?

Shows up on any high contrast edge ........ sunny days .... insects .... flowers ..... perfect for showing it!

I can live with it too (CA).....for now!......... Adobe PS and/or PSP will make it acceptable.

The lure of the DCR-250 beckons ....... "spend on me" .... "buy me ....you know you want to"........ "treat yourself" ...... "Triple chocolate ....Homer! Hmmmmmmmm!":homey:

I agree the DCR250 is a very tempting buy as it is only about 35 quid i believe but it is good to have something to use for now and to see if i want to get into macro

KK i actually here items of desire call my name too but it is difficult explaining to the wife that the items do talk...if only in my head :-)

Have you guys thought any more about one of these?

Have looked on ebay but Jessops price of £36 is very good don't think it can be beaten.
