I am using a standard flash memory reader which can only read in the

image data into PC, but the settings are all lost when the file is deleted.

I am using Kyocera M410R.

Erm are you saying that the EXIF info is lost once you transfer the photos to the pc using a card reader?

Yeah. When the M410R displays an image, it has the exposure, ISO, etc.

However, the card reader discards those information after cut/paste the

files.

Kelvin:

The EXIF (a header containing information on camera settings) is part of the image file. A card reader would not remove this information (although some software will).

You should be able tosee it with many popular image editors. If your image editor can't see this information, try downloading Irfanview from http://www.irfanview.com (it's free). Make sure to download the free plugins, too.

You can see the camera settings used under Image, Information, EXIF.
