Currently evaluating the U4R vs the SD300. Know & have read up on the technical difference between the 2 and their features, but wanted to hear actual user feedback and experiences as well as picture results. I've found a bit of professional reviews on the SD300, but none on the U4R. No picture or video samples of the U4R from what I could find. I did read that the U4R generates quite a bit of noise in dark shots w/ or w/o flash. Other than that, the 2 units are pretty much head to toe feature for feature & performance for performance. How does the Kyocera's RTUNE image processing compare to that of the impressive Canon DIGIC II. Is the RTUNE engine the same that debuted on the SL300R from over a year ago? If so, perhaps a RTUNE II is in the works.

Thanks a lot for your input in advance & happy shooting!
