News fresh in from KYUK ....... they say no camera called M420R!

It would be interesting to push the Lincoln dealer on this ...... might even be doing someone a favour by correcting an erroneous listing.

BTW, do we know where that listingfor the M420R (bag?) was supposed to be?

Cheers, KK

Yep I was trying to get a price for the leather case, as shown on the picture I posted.

Told him it was for the M410r he said they didn't have one listed for the M410r!

I explained I bought one from him so he checked the "Kyocera price list" that he had.

The only case listed was for the M420r but this would fit as it's the same camera just some internal tweaks.

Very strange indeed I may call him again to check this out.

I've put all the shops details on a post, I thinks it's get one before they go that I started.

I smell Moo Poo! Simple Typo ....the rest was adlib! Is this Tokarski's?

They may have read about the early M400R and M410R's getting a firmware upgrade and mixed this in with the focusing differences between the 400 and 410. Don't blame the poor bugger for not wanting to lose a sale! Times are hard for these guys!

Yep to all of the above.

I sent an E-mail to KYUK and the guy has just phoned me and told me the exact same thing.

It was he partner typed M420r instead of M410r

Well thats cleared up but the price of the case is cracking.

It was £24 when I went to buy it 31st of Dec 2004

I got it for £18 as there was a mark on the front??? I can't see it but hey it's money off.

now it's only £14.99!!!

I don't yet have a case ........ but would like to be able to keep my Electro Aux Wide, a Pol filter and possibly a DCR-250 (or similar) with the camera ....... is there any room for them in this case? I may have to go for a Tamrac, or similar, like Steve's.

Cheers, KK

I don't know how big all of that is!

The camera fits in quite snug with the adaptor ring left on the camera. I hope these will give you an idea of how big the pocket is on the front of the case.

Many thanks for the shots! .... I looks a perfect fit for the camera and batts/card only. Looks like I might have to go for an independent ... to store a little more clutter!

It is one heck of a good price for what you get though!

Those 2200 shots look good for a 2Meg! Close up always seem to have been one of Nikon's strong points on digi's! Nice P+S camera!

Cheers, KK
