KK

cheers for the offer but i personally prefer round ones myself. Not many photo shops around my way so no chance of finding one that way. I can get that one you chose for about £6.40 shipped to uk or this one from Adorama which costs about10 quid shipped to my USA familly. The uv filter will be attached between the hood and lens

your advice would once again be appreciated

Tony

Yep! Adorama one is OK too ....... as I said ...the trouble is finding a cap ........ since both the Ebay seller and Adorama are notjust selling the odd hood....why not ask either if they happen to have a cap that fits the hood (and doesn't keep falling off!)

Cheers, KK

Good idea...i will send a mail to both and also see if they have anything that would stay on your 69mm external fitting

KK

have a look here...maybe the 70mm can be made a tight fit by putting a lil tape on the inside of the rim?

No problem,

Hope they have it in stock! Seems to be a very rare item that case!
