Hi all,

Got my lenses Tuesday 8th.

No lens caps though. top and bottom caps missing so if anybody knows where I can get 2 sets I would be most grateful not bad really for £14 including delivery and very quick to get here.

They appear to be in good condition from what I can see, no marks on the glass.

Will try and get some shots and post them.

Cheers Ian

You did get em real quick! I am surprised there are no lens caps though so ask KK to measure up his ones and we can have a look on line. They are in good condition and thats the main thing

Hi Folks

Front 72mm clip, rear 55mm push on, will do. The originals were all push-on.

Unfortunately finding the capscouldeat into your budget for the lenses disproportionately ....... unless you are prepared to rummage. Damned shame they didn't tell you there were no caps!

Yep, Tony looks on the bright side ..... if they look in good nick, that's real good!

Cheers, KK

Thanks for the sizes KK,

Yep, they don't look bad need to take some shots when it's light.

Have found lots of the 72mm clip on, but no 55mm push-on.

7day shop have some Yashica rear lens caps, doesn't give a size though may have to try.

It will cost me about £9+ p+p to get all of the caps!!!! Not happy bunny but on the bright side.....There is no bright side it makes the lenses £25 all told.

:sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:

:flame::ak47:

Still it could be worse......the glass could be missing!!!:-)

I would have expected the caps as part of the package and i would not have thought to have asked before hand if they were included or not. I will keep my eyes open for those sizes Ian

Cheers Tony,

To be fair the photo didn't show any caps, even at a total of £25 it still isn't that bad.

I had the wide angle and telephoto for my canon A70 and they were £78 each!!

Didn't really use them much anyway but it's nice to have them just in case so I'm not really too bothered, will just buy the caps when I find the right sizes just for my own peace of mind to protect the glass.

Ian

Am getting impatient waiting for the lenses....what do they look like on the camera? KK posted a pic of the tele and tha looked ok from the angle it was taken and was wondering what it would look like from the side mounted on the camera. Not asking for a pic of course :roll:

:-)

Hi Tony,

Have only fitted the telephoto, some weight at the front of the camera now though.

Take a look at this.
