Looks identical to me the tripod - Im not that knowledgable - only brought one and it was a while ago now. I'm sure whatever you get will do what it says on the tin - just keep an eye on the screws if you get an el-cheapo jessops.

As for the camera suriving knocks - how about it being waterproof? Tumbled over in deep powder last week, camera was covered in snow everywhere - and started melting! Tried to dry most of it off but it was everywhere. Thankfully the camera survived!

As for sun tan... not getting much of a skier's tan as I do walk a lot as well without sunglasses, etc. So sorry, no funny pics there ;-)

I'm not back home yet! Still another two months' of "testing" to do yet ;-)
