I am a proud owner of a Rollei dk4010 since yesterday. First test shots are great.

I have a question about the mode dial on my cam. I think its a little loose (hopefully the right word for this phenomen). I thought it should be more tight. Is the mode dial also some sort of loose on the Kyocera m410r??

Thanks in advance for your replies...

Cheers Wolfgang Wolters from Mannheim (Germany)

sorry for my bad English

Bad English? .....you would not want to see my German! Your English is fine!

My Kyocera M410R mode dial has quite positive clicks even though it is easy to turn...... quite a nice combination. It is not as strong as on many Contax or Yashica SLR shutter speed or mode dials, but nevertheless quite positive in each position.

Wolfgang.... we would love to see some of the shots you have taken with your Rollei.

Cheers, Kyocera Kid.

Hi Wolfgang!,

Can only agree with KK, the mode Dial is easy to turn but does have a positive click in each position.

Hi Ian & KK,

thanks for your superfast replies....wow. There is no Problem with turning the mode dial. It's just (I think vertically (up--down)) a little loose (or should I say shaky). I have to get another cam (or user with cam) to compare. I just don't know how to explain. I hadtwo other cams (Minolta s414 then Caplio G4) in advance. They had mode dials but they were no such strange shaky things.

Cheers Wolfgang Wolters

Where should I post pictures......??

Hi Wolfgang

Congrats on getting a new cam. I have to agree with Ian and KK about the mode dial and if i was you i would go to the shop to see if a similar model had the same trouble

Wolfgang,

Just tried my Kyocera there is very little movement up/down on the mode dial.

When you write a reply scroll down there is a browse button press this and select a picture from your PC, you will have to resize it though.

Cheers Ian

Hi TC3,

thank you too......

I would do this, if there were any of the Rolleis left. They were on sale at SATURN in Mannheim. The offer was from last Thursday and on friday evening they had no more left so they got me one from SATURN Düsseldorf. So I have just no Rollei to compare....

Cheers, Wolfgang Wolters
