ASFAIK, the M410R output is jpg, and only jpg! How have you got GIF's out of your camera?

I do not understand about the TV bit .......do you not download the pictures to a PC or just connect a lead from the camera to a TV ...... in which case jpg's and GIF's aren't involved ... the camera produces a TV signal ...not a computer file.

Tell us more. KK

I have a mitsubishi HD tv. It has the capability of accepting 5 types of memory cards and directly veiwing them. I have put other SD cards and can directly veiw them, but I can't veiw any pictures I take.

I was mistaken, the format is JPEG, I just looked at the "properties for a few pics.

Does anyone else have this problem with a Mitsubishi TV?

Thanks, Steve.

Could it be that the TV can not see the directory structure?

Cheers, KK
