It is worth getting a HMC rather than the standard version uv filter.

UV(n) ..... new super duper IR scooper .....oh! let's stop this before it gets out of hand!

UV(n) ..... blocks UV and IR ........ideal for digital cameras .....said to help as ccd's are sensitive to IR ....(aren't films?)

Watch out for some slim-line Hoya's ....no front filter thread.... best to ask if it has front thread.......tricky to find push on hood ....... (my rectangular original Yashica push-on will fit!)

If you hang on ...... i'll look in my oddments box ..... I think I saw a nice 52mm Hoya HMC UV(0)

Cheers, KK
