OK!, OK! .... Star2Nite has twisted my arm ..... (Huh! didn't take much ... I hear from the back!) ....well I had actually just got around to looking at them yesterday after they'd sat for 3 weeks on the hard drive, feeling neglected.Star2Nite has prompted me to do something with them ....all are selections from the whole frame and downsized to 33% to 60% depending on the size of the selection. I guess you could say theyare examples of long focal length sports shots!

There are no alterations to the colours, saturation, gamma etc ...... butsome USM has been applied ...... mainly due to loss of "umph" from the resizing.

What do you think of the weird lighting on no.1 & no.2? It looked like the heavens were going to go Monsoon inland but it was really sunny over this coastal marina! All shots were taken either at full optical zoom (370mm equiv) or with somedigital added as well. Some shots were bracedon my knee-cap as I squatted down on the rocks at the edge of the marina ...some were braced against convenient fence rails. There was a lot of panning involved ....... followed by some severe use of the delete facility between races!

Cheers, KK
