What are the settings/modes that everyone likes best or uses most on their M410r cameras to give the best straight off camera look?

At the moment I use: continuous af
spot focus
100 iso
+2 sharpening
-.3 ev

these settings are used to sort out the cameras ongoing exposure problems which come and go.

Problems? No!---- Tell us more!

99% shots work on mine in "Mr. Dummy" mode, very well!

EXT, 2272 x 1704, fine, iso 100, SAF, Wide AF, Auto WB, Sharpness=normal, Chroma=normal, Contrast=normal, Metering=Eval, AE mode=Aperture.

Cheers, KK.

All depends on the cirumstances really. Lets just say the parameters i never change are the sharpness, chroma and contrast settings as these are all set to 0....

"What on going exposure problems are you talking about?

The problems in the 'lemon m410r' post

it does work some times and then other times over exposes everything except in macro and b/w mode.

the shop where I got it from actually know very little it turns out, and as there are no real kyocera camera agents (just found that out) they use a so called 'approved technician'

have done mode reset, batts out, auto dummy mode etc. when it does work it takes some damn fine pics.

If you gently shake the camera you can hear the lens moving (rattling) does any others do that?

despite what it does i still love the wee thing

I think they all rattle ... my 2 do!

Probably the zoom mech ...does not seem to detract from the excellent shots. Zeiss would never allow such a lens to bare their name ....... heads would roll!

Cheers, KK.

My better-half was in danger of making off with my M410Rpermanently ... you could see her making googly eyes at it every time I lent it to her. My Contax 137MA went the same way .... it became "her" camera! Along with that, a cheap but very tasty and very usable Sirius 18-28 CX fit zoom did a disappearing act ...... but she did splash out (from her tightly locked purse) on a nice Tamron all-purpose zoom as her main lens

So I had a word with my contacts at Kyocera and we did a deal on the second M410R, leather case, set of NiMH and charger, when I negotiated to replace my stolen SL300RT*, plus batteries, plus cards etc.

At least I should be getting my 137MA back soon .....eeeerrrr ...... maybe! Anyway, she loves the M410R..... and I get full use of my original M410R

Cheers, KK.
