Hey Ian good to hear from u

thought the reason u did not post here no more was that u had gone to a Canon forum and did not think u would be selling that

No idea where Steve got to either. Hopefulyy he is now settled out there

Nah, didn't go to a Canon forum, didn't really take any pictures using the Canon.

Wierd, took loads with the M410r.

Don't know if it was just too big or what, I didn't expect to be selling it either, but it's been sat here for so long doing nothing.
The money will be used to buy something that we really need.......... a tumble dryer nowas ours has just blown up. bugger it was waiting for me to sell the camera.
Thought I was going to have some money to play with

Anyway when I get my M410 off my brother will start snapping again.
Probably not a good idea to let brothers borrow these sorts of items.....tend not tto see them again!

Well i have finally found a DSLR that meets my needs and will complement the M410R and my Canon A540 well. It is the Pentax K100d and am justing waiting for it to hit the shops in UK. Pixmania have it but would rather compare prices before getting it. Has some excellent features, issues with past Pentax cameras have been addressedand Pentax glass 2nd hand is plentiful.....wish i had not sold my Pentax lenses from years ago

Hi KK

I assume the Contax lenses wont fit any dslr at present? How about with an adaptor maybe?

Ordered the camera from Pixmania as it is not avaliable here for a while yet! Will be great getting back to an slr and the shake reduction is working very well from what users say. Noise at 3200 seems to be colour noise and is cleaning up real well in software.....that camera really is a lil gem and Pentax is now bacl believe me!

Yes! Canon and Olympus adapters ...but your lovely C/Y wide angles become standard equivalents. Hmmmmmmm!

Ah! Ha! ....... my second M410R came back looking spic and span ..... and it looks completely repaired ....better take it for a test outing!

She who must be obeyed will be pleased and will stop bothering me to borrow the SL300RT* .... it's a crime to letthe little beauty out of my sight, you know! ... And before he sneaks in with the quips .........that's the camera, Tony :-)

So ...thanks to Alpha Digital Services for a speedy repair.

Cheers, KK.
