I went to the beach the other day to practice these tye of shots as most of Australia is in severe drought.Anyway,it's my first.Any thoughts as to how I could improve.I'm a newby.Many thanks.

Welcome to the forum. With moving water it's very hard to keep from overexposing the picture, which is what I feel has happened here. If this area is close to you and you can get back to it easily, you might want go early in the morning or very late in the afternoon or early evening as this will give you more range with the f. stops and shutter speeds. Take a series and bracket your settings. Hope thishelps. Keep clicking and posting.

Thanks for your comment Suzan.I do live reasonably close and will attempt some more with your comments in mind.I think with the over exposure,I put it in levels but went too far.
