very nicely done again martin!
did you digitally merge two shots here? or did you use a GND? (or multiple GNDs)? i like the detail in the far shore, something i tried once (lol, before i learned ALOT about photography...) but failed painfully, ending up with a bunch of shots that were blown out skies and others with solid black shores shows the importance of ND filters if you want a good DR(dynamic range) thanks for posting ![]() ![]() Vito |

Hi Vito
You're right you couldn't get this shot without some kind of help! I chose to help the shoreline by creating a mask in Photoshop and then pushing the shadow end way up to bring out some detail. Ideally I would have used a graduated filter but I don't have one as of yet. Thank goodness for digital photography! Glad you like the shot. Martin. |

Very nice Martin. We get some great sunsets on the west coast. I live north of you over the border in North Vancouver, and we get some beauties here too. Nice work! thekman.
