I thought I'd take my camera along this morning while I got some walking in. This is a small part of a walkway that stretches about 10 miles around the coast, Im only about a mile from this area so use it regularly.
Taken with the Drebel kit lens and a polarizer, resized but no editing, shots straight from the camera. So glad I chose this camera as my first DSRL:-) This first shot shows a canon bunker put into the hill during the first world war ( troops left for galipalie from here in Albany) ![]() In between these rocks is another wartime hideout, hubby used explore all these places as a child. ![]() looking out to wards the harbor ![]() ![]() old light keepers house ![]() looking out to the great southern ocean ![]() ![]() |

Put a stamp on the back of those and you've got yourself picture-postcards. Very nice!

Nice shoots. If you really want to get the best out of this location, I would advise you to take some pics at sunrise or sunset to get the best light. I am guessing the pictures you've taken were taken sometime in the afternoon. The best light is probably around sunrise or sunset. Good luck

Nice shots! Did you use a polarizer? Some of them seem to have that effect. thekman.
