I think this is a funnel cloud, you can see it rotating out of the main body of the storm cell. Taken last summer when I first got my camera, I went storm chasing, ended up getting chased by the storm. I finally got behind hit and got some night shots.

Here's another one. It looks like the funnel has been cut off the main cell. Sorry, the quality is not that good, but I thought they were worth a look. If anybody wants to play with them, feel free.

Good shots Scottie - very ominous looking :shock:. We really don't get much lightning in the UK (only the rain, rain,rainLOL) so it's always interesting to see shots like these :-)

dont think its a funnel from what i see but a VERY nice pic anyways. i love weather pics

Thanks everybody, I think I'll dig into my photo archive for some more weather shots, I tend to like them as well.
