I think you did an excellent job, both stitching and photographing the skyline.

Hello Hoooba! I think this is excellent! It would look great in a poster size print!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am really happy this one worked out. I was at the same spot last year with my olympus 740. I was naive enough to take the shots without locking the exposure. When I tried stitching them it just didn't work. This time around, I was slightly wiser. I only took three shots and I was done. Thanks again

Great panoramic.
Is the photomerge option in PS better than Canon's Photostitch? Because your panoramic has very minimal angular skewing, definitely a lot less than the panoramics that I've stitched using Photostitch. |

I haven't had a lot of expereince with photomerge. Also, I've never used photostitch before. I tried to do another pano with photomerge and it was too skewed like you mentioned. I was surprised when this one worked out. I've been trying the other fre panorama software on the net. Haven't really found a convenient one yet.

VERY nicely done.
![]() The only MINOR suggestion I would respectfully suggest is to clone out the "check mark" on the building on the right of your panorama. |

It's pretty easy to use, and works well for me, in fact it's fairly rair these days that I use photoshop's photomerge. Generally I find that photomerge distorts the images less than autostitch, but autostitch generally does a better job of blending them together. By way of a ridiculous example, this image was stitched together from 15 images (a 3x5 matrix), don't ask me why, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Still you can see every pebble in the river bed in the full size version! Note that some parts of the trees don't quite match up (the darn things keep moving), but that's not really something you can fix during a photomerge. BTW I also find that autostitch runs out of memory less easily than photomerge: photomerge won't merge more than 5 images on my machine, so there's no chance of it managing something like this one. Hope this helps, John. |

Nice work, Hooba. Good stithching job. By the way, the pavilion at Per 17 is the set of lights I thought was a boat in your earlier post.
