Ferrara is almost completly surrounded by its medievale walls.
And they are still in good condition. Here are two little shots : ![]() ![]() My impressions on the first shot : I find that the shot is a little bit irritating my eyes. Actually there are two point of attention : the right eye is attracted by the vanishing point right in the middle while the left eye is attracted by the focus on the bricks on the left. Is it the same for you ? |

To my eyes, the top one is most pleasing. I like the colors of the brick and the trees/grass. Just curious... Did you take another shot of that scene with more depth of field? I would be interested in that.

Not exactly. Photo was just two mouse clicks away in my hard disk. I use to take several shots of the same subject in order to decide later for my favourites. That's the beauty of the Ditical Camera : it's completly free ! Quote:
couldn't find anything useful. However I was meaning to practice motocross. |

Sergip,
I found the sepia most appealing. I'm just waiting for Sophia Loren to stroll down the pathway. Sriously, the first shot, loses my intesrest becasue fo the very narrow depth of filed and the fuzziness (blur) really distarcts. Probably if the in-focus part fo the image was a bit further down the wall it would be appealing. The thrid shot you posted of the same wall in color is good but definitely doesn't grab my attention like the sepia. Perhaps because of the shadows. |
