Awesome Adelaide Sunset - photos taken at home

Hi Friends

The last little while we've had beautiful autumn weather here in Adelaide, South Australia (temperatures in the high 20's / low 30's Celsius). ;)

This particular evening was a spectacular sunset.... and as I was in the middle of cooking... I didn't have much time to take many shots, but I did squeeze off a few from the front of my house and then from my back garden.

Normally I would go up on my roof (it takes a few minutes to get the ladder from my shed, get up on the roof, etc... and obviously one doesn't want to do these things in a hurry... rushing around on a roof can be hazardous to one's health! :o )

Anyway, here are 2 photos that I am happy with... would like to share with you and hear your comments.

#1 Photo from the front of my home (taken standing in my front garden, looking north west).

Wishing every a happy, safe, and meaningful Easter. God bless you!

Paul

And this photo is taken from my back yard, looking over the fence to the west (obviously... and yes, for those of you who don't know... the sun does sink in the west 'Down Under'!) :D

G'day PJ [from another PJ]

Thanks for showing us your western skies - mine look very similar lately too
Like #1 more than #2 - perhaps because of more foreground information??

Regards, Phil

Cheers PJ! (We have more than 1 thing in common!)

I appreciate you viewing. It's great that the blessing of beautiful sunset skies are extending across the many kilometres in our awesome country.

Yes, I can understand that #1 is more interesting, due to foreground info. (When I posted these photo on facebook more of my friends liked #1 too).

Thanks for your kind words. Catch you round / on these forums again.

Paul :)
