Hi,Martin,have missed seeing your pictures here lately. This picture
is not up to your usually excellent work,if you don't mind me saying so.I think that this picture would work if the rock was very sharp and the background had that " Martin Paul" clarity that makes your pictures so outstanding to me. BTW,your pictures are one of the main reasons that I purchased a G3 camera. I still have not figured out how you get that special clarity and color to your landscape pictures. I took a look at your website landscape pictures and they are exactly what I am trying to get in my own pictures. Maybe you could give a novice a few pointers?? :lol:

I'm no expert but what if you were to move back and use a long lens to bring the driftwood closer to the lighthouse?

What a beautiful area.

I think QDM might have a thought there that may solve the perspective problem. Besides being jumpy I think the lighthouse maybe too small to have the impact you're hoping for.
