The Grotto Bay resort in bermuda sits on top a large cave system, as does much of the island. This is the "lower cave" at Grotto bay, one of two large cavities that are illuminated and have walkways constructed.
Sorry about the size, I just couldn't bring myself to crunch it all on the screen. |

Here is the upper cave, this one you can swim in!
Sorry about the black at the bottom, autostich skewed the pictures when it put them together and I didn't want to cut out the people swimming, so this one didn't quite work out. Btw, the orrigional pano of the lower cave is 180 degrees field of view. |

I did not use a tripod, I rested the camera on a railing. I don't remember exactly but these were anywhere from a 1 sec to 3 second exposure. If I did twitch at all it was countered by the Image stabilization, and I can't see any motion blur. If anything the focus is soft from the low light.
here is a 100% crop though. |

If those were taken resting on a rail you did really well there, once upon a time I used to be able to manage to keep still enough for that, but not these days :!: ![]() BTW if you really want to keep the swimmers without the black sections then you might be able to tweek autostitch's manual parameters to allow that. Another option I've used when this has happened to sections of sky is to just get out the cone stamp tool and paint something in there  John. |
