Default Black and White Sunset

I felt like trying something a little different so decided to convert this evenings sunset/cloud shots to black and white.

As always glad to hear your thoughts.

There is something about colours that make sunsets special imo. I would never guessed that it was the sunset you were taking pictures of, so the pictures don't tell the story. Pictures #1 - 3 were a wee bit appealing, but they lose me fairly quickly.

I think they're really cool. I like the clouds in the 1st and 3rd one. Would be nice to see them in color as well

i really like minimalist b&w landscapes. i really like the composition of #1 and #2, i like low horizons in these kinds of shots. #1 i like for the 2 lonely trees in the frame, though i wish they were slightly more prominent. #2 i like for the sky, the way it sucks you into the scene, and gives it an open expansive feeling.

something about the tones in the sky doesn't feel right. i feel like the sky could be better. but i don't know what you were working with.
