Well the heather is in full bloom up on the moors now, so I guess autumn must be on the way.
The water channel here is man made - we call them leats around here - they carry drinking water taken from the streams and rivers up on the moors and feed it down to the local farms and villages: or at least they did - nowadays they just feed the local reservoir - and only the most isolated properties still take their water from the leats. Nice photograph,heather in bloom issomething I have never seen. Channels like that are very important here in arid New Mexico, distributing Rio Grande riverwater to nearbyfarms.

What a beautiful pic!!! You feel drawn into the stream and flowers and seem to get carried to the foot of the hills in the background, becomming part of the beauty and tranquility. Could gaze into it all day. Well done!!!
