Discodudett, .. hmmm
Anyhow, the first photo wont win awards but nonethelss it is quite creditable. I found the tilting horizon a tad distracting. The second photo isn't too tall. Nice sharp photo. It's difficult to make a dramatic photo of something that isn't intrinsically dramatic. The contrast of the church building with the blue sky is quite good. Keep clciking away. Aloha |

In spite of the tilting horizon, I really like that first photo. The haze, the glow, the near-monochromatic coloring--all of it sets a mood appropriate to the subject.

Strange. I've tried several times to view these photos but can't. Yet others can. Is this some sort of conspiracy?

In the meantime, I also have this happen periodically, so I just do the old right-click trick on the red 'x', copy the URL found in Properties, paste it into the address bar, hit Enter, and there, by cracky, is the photo. |

ok...I like the visual tones in the first shot, eerie looking, but the tilting horizon distracts my eyes too much. What are all the vertical images in the distant fog? The second picture doesn't do much for me. Perhaps a tad overexposed, but quite acceptable. |

Hi! Sorry I really know nothing about how to take good pcitures except that if my eye likes it, it's good. Overexposed? Does that mean it's too bright?
There's a funny story behind that second picture. Well actually not really, but I will tell it anyways! ![]() ![]() Well thanks for all the replies. I will get on my other computer tomorrow and try to striahgten it up and crop out that darn chair! I just took the photo to show how much it was raining and how hard it was raining, but it ended up looking like the cover for a scary movie! I liked it, but it needs some major touch-ups. |
