I dunno Delos - just my opinion of course but the rockies are so gorgeous in their natural state - I think it detracts somewhat to view them in IR.

I totally agree about the beauty of the place. It's one of the most beautiful and awe inspiring places I've ever visited. Problem is, in May, haze (admittedly slight haze) is a bit of a problem. IR cuts right through it and the B&W (IMHO) gives the scene a little more interest.
I think if we had had more time, you would be seeing some fairly dramatic shots in all their glorious color. (I would truly love to visit in the Autumn - just can't imagine how that would look). I posted a Blog of the complete vacation at: http://studiodelos.blogspot.com |
