A fantastic shot and really nice result. I always like to see someone using 'real' photographic techniques and equipment and it's work really well for you.

Beautiful colors.

I'm wondering what a lower perspective would have offered, more blue sky, a little less rock outcropping, and no weed to pull my attention to?

Were you on a tripod or shooting standing up?

The hardest thing for me to get, is the best angle of a scene that grabs my eye. Normally, I don't see it till I get home and download it to my monitor

Actually, it would be a loss to skip this image!...and I always like seeing someone utilizing the techniqueto reveal one'sgood taste: )

Well...your photo even reminded me of the beauties there mentioned in the song'All Kinds of Everthing' which had Ireland place first in the Eurovisionback on those'good old days' you might remember

My only concern is about the nearer boat in the center which offers a repetation thanks to the presence of the further boat (not the furthest one!) which is destined to stand 'alone', imo, rendering the feel of distancefollowing thepointy rock on the righthandside.

Again, well done mate, and keep on posting!
