Easter Fotos

Went away last week and took a few pics on my travels, here's the best, enjoy.

The Cathedral is in a City called St David's, the smallest city (by definition, has a cathedral) in the world.

Oops, should've mentioned, except the B+W one which was taken in North Wales, these pics were taken in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

Cathedral

The Cathedral was stunning. This isn't quite a Cathedral but another quiet place of worship in Hawaii.

Selvin, a very attractive and well saturated foto, what camera do you use?

Hawaii church

I'm using a Minolta S404.

Your scenic shots almost make me wish I was there.

Aloha.

Hi Steve.

The BW shot is an excellent shot with a lot of mood.

The very dramatic sky is great and the scenery is a perfect catch.

I can see you did some work in PS - or did the sun put that spot on the beach ? It a bit hard to believe, but...

not that it matters to me. I only look at the final shot, it doesn't matter how much PS work was done as long as it started with a photo.

Your other shots was not in my taste :( , but the BW style was an great choice.

All my editing is in PSP not PS, I can't be bothered to learn it.

All I did was convert to greyscale, resize, compress more, levels and sharpen.

Here's the untouched original, except for resizing and compression for quick upload.

Funny, my fav is the second one, I love the green water - it really was that colour, the polarising filter helped to bring it out.

The other photos r good too but porth clais1 and pembrokeshire4 are great!

Where did u take them?

Klaus DK May 1, 2003 1:11 AM

Steve. I think you did the right thing converting to BW - and I eat my words again - you got the shot in just the right time (the light spot!)

Well, err Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire is in west Wales, about half way down the left hand side of Wales on the coast-line. Pembrokeshire 4 was taken using a Fuji 2600.

The new ones using my 730 and the rest using a cheap Jenoptic JD800i - sub 1mp camera. It's got a lousy lens so you have to be careful how you use it - only just better than nothing.
