That's a wonderful composition, Jim. Is the sky always that clear there? Never been to Yosemite. When is the best time to go?

The composition is great, and the color is stunning. Did you use a polarizer? By the way, the picture has the quality of medium format. |

Very nice, Jim.
That is an area I would like to visit someday. I have a circular polarizer but never have used it. It looks to be very effective. |

yes the polarizer can be quite effective in retaining those blue skies when your at the proper angle to the sun. Yosemite has to be one of the most beautiful spots in the lower 48. Unless you like huge crowds........ Avoid it during the summer months when the schools are out. |
