Try taking pics in full sun, with the sun at your back. Rotate the polarizer for deepest blue sky, and then try a different angle from the sun and readjust the polarizer. Experiment until you discover for yourself what conditions allow you to get the maximum deepening of the blue sky. Enjoy!

Also, remember that the best polarizing effect comes at right angles to the sun...
