Today is the first day of winter. We had a bit of a freeze the other night and the wind brought the ice into shore. A big enough wind can do some serious damage if the ice comes in.

Berrrr, looks cold!!!
I used to live in Coburg, on lake Ontario and remember freezing body parts off walking its shores. But hay, it was -25c here on Lake Simcoe yesterday too. Man, I can't wait for April. |

lovely picture, Tom...must admit I would have liked to have seen it witout the lens flare though. I think it would look that more tranquil.
