Taken with E20 this am on way to work in thick fog with temps hovering just below freezing.

This composite shows the wispy tendrils of fog that alighted upon the remnants of tall grass (top pic).

Interestingly, only the top half of the grasses were so endowed (bottom pic).

The sight was all gone shortly after the sun emerged.

Look at the length of crystals on that top pic! We had the same on pines here yesterday...camera sitting by the computer at home. We have visibility of about 50 yards here today. At least it is warmer. I'm feeling very lucky to live here after watching all of the disasters happening around the world. It is a very sad time for so many. :sad:

i'd like to see them a bit bigger!

do you have any close ups of the crystals?

fleeting and fragile is right!
