Hi all, been a while since i posted.
It's time for the seasonal images to emerge. The early morning frosts coupled with bright clean sunlight can make for nice and challenging subjects. This taken this morning around 9am with the frost covered trail and reflective frozen dub (puddle) and the streaming rays of the sun (captured in the usual wide angle high f/stop manner.). Deliberately I lowered the in camera sharpening to get a softer haze to the image. ![]() This and more added recently in my photoblog. cheers..... Canon S2 davidlamarra.co.uk |

its a good shot.. but the snow is a little grey/blue... i think you need to do a little levels adjustment and get that snow brilliant white like it should be.. i think you will be much happier with the results..

Beautiful shot, makes me wanna crawl back under the covers I hate winters LOL. But I agree with Dustin, snow is very difficult to shoot or process at times usually ending up with a bluish/grey cast. But it's definitly a great shot

thanls for the comments (everyone) .. taking into account the comment from dustin (above) i have tried to get the 'snow' (which is a hard frost on muddy grass) more white but i lose the balance of the photo. It is very much as it was being physically there but it could do with something (i should have balanced it in PS). Can anyone have a go and see what they can produce to give the frost the daz treatment. cheers, |
