I took these from my bedroom window last night :|
It was the only place I could find with a view of the sun going down at short notice :!: Heaven only knows what the neighborehood thought of me hanging out the window taking this one though :? |

Strangely when I took another just a few seconds later, most of the colors had gone, so I'm wondering if my camera's auto-white balance got confused, anyone know if this is likely to be an issue?
Enjoy, John. |

Very glad you risked life and limb to take these shots though! Very beautiful indeed. Rose |

Good shot John, don't you find it amazing that the sun splits into 3 distinctive colours when its at that level? Any idea what causes it?

I've seen colors change that fast at sunset, and my brain's white balance seens to be okay!
These are begging to be sandwiched with another image that needs a good late sky! Grant |
