I am a little confused. Is there a Devil's Tower at Yosemite National Park in California? I go there a lot but am not familiar with it. I know of the Devils's Tower in Wyoming.

Nice shots Bill. I am another one that has Yosemite ona list of places to visit (someday)

Seems I have read that the crowds and traffic can be daunting. Is it that bad?

Hey Everyone and Thanks for the nice words.

Yosemite is a very special place. I find it humbling.

The traffic and crowds are bad in the high season and that is why I never get this picture. I have been going to Yosemite for about 4 years but only in the OFF season as I don't like crowds. This picture was taken on a road (to Glacier Point)that is normally closed in the off season due to snow. It has not closed yet and I just got real lucky on the clouds and sun light.

I have been away from the forums for a while. I took a 5 week photo vacation and visited 10 national parks (Yosemited not included) and took 2600 pictures. I am still processing as I shoot raw format only. I definitely have a winter project.

I will share some shots as I get them done. I have to tell you that Glacier National Park and Arches National Park are a photographer's dream.

I am booked for Christmas in Yosemite this year for a week. Maybe some snow shots to come.
