Nice shot, I've took a couple shots like this and their not as easy as they look. Theres always something that distracts you right at the crucial moment! lol
Did you use a polarzing filter for it?

Very dramatic shot. Like the colors.

Too bad there wasn't a ray of sunshine in there sunwhere to add even more of a lighting effect.

Nice picture:cool:! This would look good enlarged and in a frame.

Thanks. Yes, I did use a polarizer here. This was taken during midday sun -- not exactly the preferred lighting conditions but sometimes you justhave to make do with what's available:lol:

Great shot ohenry. I've tried this myself, and it is difficult to get the timing right. Did you do a burst of this? Nice stuff. thekman

Yes, I took 3 shots in burst mode.

Gorgeous, Ohenry, withspot-on composition.

I love the golden light that plays on your waves in the foreground.

You have "stopped" and captured a great moment.

great shot, what amuses me is when you see a fisherman on a rock like this.:-)

Nice picture, I like the colors and sun light you captured.

Digicam, I wish I could take credit for the golden light reflections on the frothing waves but in reality it isn't the result of lighting at all, but a dirty brown foam that seemed prevelent throughout the coast -- probably oil film and pollution agitated by the action of the sea.

Thanks for looking and commenting everyone
