Not sure what kind of tree this is, but found it on the grounds of a mansion on Newport, RI. Wish I would have had more daylight to spend on it....this was very close to dusk.

That is a most incredibly interesting tree

Have you taken any other pics of it? Other views?

Actually, sepia or b&w with some yellow photo filter is the way to go for such an image, IMO:cool:

Regrettaby, I don't know when or if I'll be back. I was leaving the property at dusk when I noticed the tree and took one quick shot of it. Sure wish I would have noticed it sooner. On Newport, Rhode Island, they offer tours of some of the mansions. This one happened to be on the Vanderbilt property. I live in Idaho, so it is a majortrek for me. Thanks for the comments.
