Jake: you said you wanted some night shots some time ago, so here's afew I took acouple of daysback. I don't know if they work very well, but here goes anyway. These all had varying long exposures on a tripod with nr on. By the way, loved yourposts on African Wildlife-outstanding!! Cheers........thekman.
This first one is about a half hour after sundown. There was quite a different sky this night. ![]() This is the Lions Gate Bridge taken from the West Van Seawall. About 45 minutes after sundown. Theclouds to the east were very pinkish and red due to a fire in a bog just east of Vancouver in the suburb of Delta. Actually, some of this is smoke. ![]() This is a shot of the seawall. You can see the ghosts walking along...... ![]() |

I like these, especially the second one: the red sky may be down to smoke, but it sure does add to the effect nicely!

Thanks kman, really appreciate the post, your night shots are a real inspiration !!
I particularly like the third shot, I think it's the contrast between thelit walkway and the dark sea, and the way youreyeis lead to the "ghosts" : whatever the reason, GREAT stuff, thanks again for sharing !!! [and for the wildlife comments] |
