VERY early morning Bear Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park. I was getting prepped to take a good sunrise shot when I noticed this beaver traversing across the water at, for him, breakneck speed. I scurried to get any kind of shot before it got away. In my zeal, I inadvertently set the camera for sepia tone. It would have been nice to have a bit more detail in the trees.....but I think the spontaneity of the moment still makes the image work.

The deep sepia tones make it looks like a painting. For me, very pleasing. Nicely done.
