Default Lake Kachess

my daughter and i went back up in the foothills on Saturday, exploring some of the old forest service roads. this is the view from the end of one of them... it's about 1500-2000 ft above Lake Kachess, just a bit east of Snoqualmie Pass in the Washington Cascades. if you turn 90 degrees to the right, you're looking across the tops of the foothills at Mt. Rainier... really a spectacular view! i'd love to be up there at sunrise one morning... 5D, Tammy 17-35 @ 23mm, 1/250 @ f/8 w/polarizer.

Beautiful spot.
Wildflowers, mountains, lake, and best of all no people. What's not to like about it?
