Here are a few snapshots from my Spring Break trip with the Fellas to Lake Tahoe.
They were taken with my new Olympus Stylus 300. They have been re-sized, and some have been sharpened and cropped. I think it too much to comment on all of them. I'll give you an generel comment.
You should think more of composition. Not that you by any means should follow the standard rules - but you need to decide, what you want to show with your photos. I.e you have a shot of an wonderfull snowlandscape - but in the right lower corner we see a man cut half over...Thing like that totally destroyes the overall impression of a fine shot. You should also try more to find out what you want our eyes to meet first in the particular shot. Is it the people skiing or the great landscape with the wonderfull colors (you can put flower in your mouth and blow at the same time ![]() The good things: Your seems to catch light very good and get great colors out of it. That great. Keep it up! (Its all meant in a friendly way...) ![]() |

Thanks Klaus! I actually cropped the skier out of that photo in my first post. It was a much better photo, but I had to re-post everything and I forgot to post the cropped version. I need photo editing software that crops faster than Adobe, and I am learning how to use the IMG function thanks to fenlander.
![]() Thanks for the comments. I probably should include fewer photos per post. |
