Nice shot. Really captures the extreme tides in the Thames.

The tides on the Thames always amaze me. To see large ships sitting in the mud is unusual. In my part of the world 5 feet between high and low tide occurs only at new and full moon. They must be 20 feet in the Thames and even higher at Mont St Michel.

I've seen the tidal boar off of the Bay of Fundy but never have seen one in the Thames. Maybe the water is too deep.
