Julie, this photo was originally taken in early June and therefore was late spring in our hemisphere. If I remember correctly, it was late afternoon, probably around 4 or 4:30 (as you mentioned) and the sun would have been setting about 8:30 or so around that time of year.

I intend to do just what you say, printing it out in 13"x19" format on my Canon i9900 which will definitely do it justice. I'll have to do a proper NeatImage'ing of it first to rid it of a bit of noise that you can see in the sky areas. |

Vito, I'llpost the version I'm going to print before I do any noise reduction on it. However, the effects of my PS post-processing tends to accentuate the film grain from the slide scans of the original image so I think NR will be necessary.
Sure, some noise adds to the mood of the shot but too much will ruin it for the viewers. |
