moonlight

i took this shot at 5:30am. the moon was extremely bright. i used the coconut tree's as shade and also for framing.
any comments on how to better fix this?

Hi There,

Love the photo, cant see that it needs any fixing, A60 did a fine job also.

Berto, If you're trying to get a better silhouette of the palm trees then you may have over exposed. I think your idea of using the trees to block some of the moonlight is a good idea but it's still too bright.

Wonderful picture! It looks like one of those ones that your computer comes with as a background or wallpaper to use! It is really great! I like it.

Late night revellers get all the good night shots – nice picture, like it alot.

One way to have improved it, would have been to have shot it twice, exposing once for the moon so that it is not “burnt-out” and once for the palm trees or foreground so they show a little detail. You then blend the 2 pictures together in your image editing application.
