The area where I took this is quite wet and dark, and very little light makes it's way to the the lower foliage. It's a rainforest. It managed to quit raining for a day, so I hiked in to get some pictures. As I'm sitting here posting this, the rain is pounding down again. Hardly ever stops in November, but makes for some interesting photos. Comments welcome.Cheers....................thekman.

Very moody shot. Almost spooky. I like it.

(Forgive my ignorance, but is this rainforest in BC?)

Yes it's in North Vancouver, part of the "Lynn Valley" neighbourhood-we get so much rain here against the mountains, my friend says I live in Dim Valley. It's part of what they call the Seymour Demonstration Forest. Located at the base of Seymour Mtn. It's part of Vancouver's watershed. thekman.

Rumour has it, he's been seen in this neck of the woods. You never know when you might run into him........I'll just offer him a Kokannee if he shows. That should pacify him. thekman.
