gorgeous day yesterday, so i took a short trip to a nearby town with a good view of "our" local mountain... it's a bit over 14,000 feet high, and the fifth largest peak in the continental U.S. lovely to look at, but also deadly - a handful of climbers die scaling it every year, it seems...

Beautiful photo squirl! Nothing like that in Indiana, I am always amazed at photos like this with snow in the bacground and summer in the lower elevations.

Striking photo squirl. Great color and a magnificent scene. One thing for sure, no one will have to bring me down from there----- I would rather look than climb.
